Family Fun at the Fair!

We took the girls to the fair on Friday and had a GREAT time! This was Kaysen's first time ever going to the fair and she was beyond excited to ride all the rides and try some of the food that we had been telling her about for days. The twins weren't too impressed with the fair. They were content as long as mommy and daddy kept giving them bits of food to taste.

Speaking of food, we ate our hearts out! The fair is known for all of its deep fried food, and though we wanted to try it all, our stomachs (and pockets), told us to stop. Even Kaysen put a stop to the food binge by saying, "Seriously, Mommy? Why do you keep getting more food?" Haha. Well at least I got to get my Fried PB&J that I had been wanting to try for a while. Also, the tamale donut was very good. And of course we had to get a turkey leg before we left. :-)

Besides the food, we also enjoyed some of the shows. Our favorite stop is the automobile buildings. We used to look at sleek sports cars. This year the big family size cars, (7 seats or more) are what we had our eyes on.  LOL

Kaysen was looking forward to seeing the pig races, but we missed the final show. She got to do the Little Hands on the Farm experience and really enjoyed that. They even gave her a treat at the end for being such a good farmer! :-)

We're glad we got the chance to take the girls out to the fair. Now the question is, would we do it again? :-)
