The Twins Turn One!

Our babies are one! It's hard to believe that one year can fly by so fast. It feels like just yesterday they were born, and now they're running around, exploring (and tearing up) everything.

The party for the girls was a success! We celebrated with our friends and family. There was a bounce house, bubbles, a slide, and a pinata! Everyone had a great time, oh, except for Kalani.

I'm not sure if it was the fact that there were so many people, or maybe she hated the tutu and shoes that I made her wear. Whatever it was, she was not having it! She screamed and fussed for the majority of the party, refused to smash her cake, and then fell asleep on her aunt for the rest of the party. We did manage to get a few pics of her smiling...or semi-smiling.

Kylie on the other hand truly enjoyed herself! This girl lives to party and be the center of attention, with her cool and quiet demeanor. She stayed up the ENTIRE time, and was still in a good mood even when we knew she was super tired. Since her twin needed to nap, Kylie had no problem opening all the gifts. We left one for Lani to open when she woke up, which of course she refused to do. :-)

I guess it's safe to say that the girls partied themselves out, because all 3 are now sick. :-(  Talk about a busy weekend. We went from partying to cleaning up not so nice things that come out of little bodies.(I'll save all of these details for another post. lol)  Today was rough, but I hope they are starting to feel better. I am one tired Mama! But I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.
