Late Post (Literally)

I can't believe it's been over 6 months since we last posted on our blog! Needless to say, things have been super busy around the Jones household.

Kaysen finished another school year and is headed to Kindergarten! It still seems like just yesterday we were dropping her off at the 2-year-old classroom, and now she will be in elementary school (that seems so weird to say.) But she's excited, and as much as I would love for her to stay little, I'm also excited to see her grow and mature. She's also started taking swim lessons this summer, and is now in cheer. She seems to really like her cheer team so I'm hoping we will be able to stay with this. :-)

Kylie and Kalani have hit the terrible two's. Even though they're like 3 months away from turning 2, these girls have already started with the tantrums, hitting, fighting and screaming. Although this age seems to be rough, I have to say I am enjoying every minute of it. They are learning so much and starting to talk and communicate with us and each other. It's so cute to see their relationship with each other and with Kaysen. We were worried in the beginning, because they never seemed to want to be bothered with each other. I used to always say, "Hey, ya'll are twins. Act like it." They still fight a lot, but now they have started playing together more, and sometimes will even try to look out for one another.

Kev and I have both been off with them for the summer and it has been great getting to spend so much time together with the girls. They keep us busy, and are pretty tired at the end of every day, but we wouldn't change it for anything in the world. <3
